Development of a dual-purpose advanced communication system multirotor unmanned aerial vehicle platform
Development of a Dual-Use Advanced Communication System for a Multirotor Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Platform
Project No.: 1.2.1.1/3/25/A/016On September 11, 2025, the Central Finance and Contracting Agency signed an agreement with SIA “Redditum” (Agreement No. 1.2.1.1/3/25/A/016) for the implementation of a European Union fund project under the program “1.2.1.1. Support for the Development and Internationalization of New Products,” Round 3.
The project involves cooperation between two partners: the project applicant SIA “Redditum,” a significant company in the Latvian industry, and its cooperation partner SIA “DHANVANTARI SOLUTIONS,” which specializes in IT solutions. The collaboration between the partners will be ensured through an effective cooperation framework.
Additionally, an international partner – the Swedish company DGR PRO AB – will participate in the project’s research activities. DGR PRO AB specializes in training, exercises, and testing of various types of equipment and will share its knowledge and expertise in defining the solution requirements.
Project Objective:
The aim of the project is to develop a new multirotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) platform designed for dual-use in defense and security applications. The platform will consist of an innovative data transmission system and its supporting ground station, which, through specially adapted data transmission methods, will ensure optimal task execution in high-interference and complex environmental conditions.
Main Project Activities:
